About The Artist

My name is Ambrienne Ortega, and I am the creator/owner of S’Rad Clothing. I currently call San Clemente, Ca home and could not be happier living here. I moved to California by way of Arizona and, before that, New Mexico, where I grew up. 

 

Creativity and connection have always been the foundation of my vision for life, and I have a deep passion for art in all forms. My journey really began in my first art class where I found expression through music and art. Throughout my high school and college years I dabbled in many artistic styles and used various methods, but I found my preferred medium by accident. The neck of my first guitar broke, the guitar I taught myself to play on, and I was devastated. I decided to use that broken guitar as a canvas, and from there I was hooked. I painted any and every guitar I could get my hands on. The relationship between my passion for painting and music converged into what is now the inspiration for the next project on my journey of artistic discovery, S’Rad clothing.

 

That being said, I never intended to start a clothing company. I see it as more of a natural progression of my art onto yet another medium. My friends from all over who were drawn to my pieces began telling me how cool it would be if they could wear my art, and S’Rad was born.  I came up with name “S’Rad” thanks to my friends, coworkers and even strangers pointing out that I say “that’s SO RAD”....A Lot. My response was “I plan on bringing RAD back.” 

 

I don’t consider S’Rad as just a brand, but as a lifestyle. S’Rad clothing is a combination of art, music, good people and good vibes. Our world is beautiful and we should appreciate, feel, and experience every second of it.
